Field day.

Today is my hubby's soccer team's photo taking day.

Renae & mommy is going to show some support by wearing daddy's favorite team jersey.

Hubby recently ruptured his achiles tendon and have been out of soccer for a few months now. Thank God he is recovering well. He can't play but putting on his boots probably felt good enough! Look how happy he is. 

I wonder which uncle is scaring and bullying Renae??

I used to go for hub's soccer games while we were dating.

After we got married i just felt it was way too hot!

1st Trial Class at 11months

I brought Renae to her 1st trial class. 

Its a class for 9mths-18mths babies.

My purpose of bringing her there is simply for her to have fun and meet other babies.

The moment we stepped in, we placed her on the mat with other children and she was so excited. 

She was the youngest there and probably the most independent too. I wish she would "want" me more.. but oh well.. i guess its a good thing too. I can imagine in the future when she goes to school, its me that would be crying, not her.

Renae was so curious and excited throughout the 45mins of class.

She would crawl all the way to the front & listened eagerly to the teacher.

There was quite number of hands-on activities for them which definitely needed parents to help them with. One of which was to transfer sponge balls from one bowl to the other. We were told that this activity would help babies with their motor skills.

She just sat there and admired.

The next activity was a good workout for me. Lol.

As the teachers sang, the kids had to walk around the circle mats and find one to hop onto when the teachers stop singing. I was practically carrying Renae up and down because she has yet to start walking. 

Art & Craft time!

I love it.

I probably had more fun than Renae coz i did.. hmmm 100% of the art work.

Haha.

 We had to dip strips of colored paper into vinegar water, after which we pasted them onto a blank piece of paper to create a rainbow :)

Overall, it was a fun morning and it helps that i know one of the teachers there.
So she brought me around and i really like this place because its spacious and clean.

I decided that i would send Renae for classes maybe starting at 18months or older. We shall see. I believe that every child should enjoy their childhood to the fullest so i am not very anxious to start her with any classes yet. For now, i would rather bring her to indoor playgrounds or play gym to have fun!

Grocery shopping is never the same.

With Renae, grocery shopping is so much fun.

And it gets messy too.

We cannot push her too near the displays if not most of the items would end upon the floor.

She enjoys pulling everything off the rack.

We bring her along whenever we can and she have so much fun just going thru the items in the cart.

NTUC is like a mini playground for her.

She enjoys zooming around.

Especially daddy would push her in high speed (according to me, not to him), and she would get so excited and happy!

Simple things like that makes a baby so happy.

Looking at her reminds me to appreciate the little joys in life :)

I think good friends are so important.

I treasure my good friends that i know would be there for me when i need them.

I really hope that we would all grow old together :)

Definitely not in order of preference but in a timely manner or how i celebrated my birthday :)

30 and fabulous!

The big three-O is here!! 

When i was younger i used to think people who hit their 30's would be considered old aunties but here i am still feeling young and hopefully not an aunty yet. I am hoping to be a young and hip mom to my baby girl. Honestly i never felt better, i am feeling very blessed and happy at age 30.

I am actually really excited and looking forward to my 30's. 

My birthday weekend started with a stay-cation at MBS. A birthday gift from my brother Jonathan who was too busy at work to join us at the hotel. So we had lunch at imperial treasure and he left shortly after. Thanks bro, we all had a great time!

This is my cheeky daughter, Renae. She loves to make funny expressions and brings so much laughter to all of us!

 She bites and puts everything into her mouth.

Her latest favorite thing to do:

"Hello!"

After lunch, my bro checked us in.

I wished you could have joined us.

We upgraded our room so that we could have the city view, which was so beautiful at night.

Very spacious & nice for a bubble bath.

We rested abit in the room before we headed up to the infinity pool.

The water was super super cold. But Renae enjoyed herself nevertheless.

 We just bought this float recently and i think its awesome for babies. It is definitely better than regular floats because this holds them in more securely. Except she toppled forward a few times, after which i think she started to get a hang of it.

I salute him, he swam 4-5hours and only left when my dad told him its time to go for dinner. 

Because it was really way too cold, we took Renae out of the water after 20-30mins. She came up shivering and he lips was slightly purple. My gosh, i wrapped her up quickly and headed back to our room for a nice warm shower.

Great weekend stay! So blessed.
